$ \Rightarrow $ $ x(x+128)-126(x+128)=0 $
$ \Rightarrow $ $ x(x+128)-126(x+126)=0 $ Since, $ x+128=0 $ is not possible. Therefore, $ x-126=0\Rightarrow x=126 $ So, the larger number = 128
